Day 1 Arrival Hohhot

Arrive in Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia, you will be met at the airport by tour guide and transferred to your comfortable hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 HohhotXilamuren Grassland

Meet your guide at your hotel lobby at appointment time in the early morning,and then transfer to Xilamuren Grassland.Xilamuren Grassland, which is one of the must-see attractions in Inner Mongolia.

In Mongolian language, Xilamuren means “yellow water”, and some people would like to call it “

Zhao River”.Xilamuren Grassland is teemed with green grass and fresh flowers every summer and autumn. Thanks to to the continual efforts made by the governments at all levels and companies concerned, the service quality is becoming better and better. As result, Xilamuren has been turned into one of the must visited pastures in Inner Mongolia. This grassland is about 90km away from Hohhot in the north.It is the closest grassland near Hohhot and is one of the most popular grassland for travelers from home and abroad relax on.

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a traditional welcoming ceremony by the local Mongolians colorfully dressed. You will taste the traditional Mongolian food and take part in local horseback riding.You are arranged to go to the stud farm to select the horse for your horseback riding. The cost for horseback riding is not included in the tour package, visiting Aobao and a herdsmen’s family, which usually takes about 2-3 hours. The horseback is the highlight of the tour (pay on your own).  Afterwards, you will see the performances of Mongolian style wrestling, Horse racing and Equestrian.

At night, people sit around bonfires singing and dancing to their hearts’ content. After one day’s travel, you will stay in a Mongolian yurt. Far away from the light pollution, you will have chance to see the stars shinning in the night sky.

Day 3 Xilamuren GrasslandResonant Sand Gorge-Departure Hohhot

After breakfast,we drive to the Resonant Sand Gorge. After arriving at the Resonant Sand Gorge, take the bus to the chairlift station. Then take chairlift to the top of the sand hill. First take 20-30 minutes camel ride on the desert. Then enjoying the sand sliding for one times. For more activities, you are requested to pay by yourself. 
Ranking the first place among the hot spots of singing sands in China, Resonant Sand Gorge in Inner Mongolia is located 50 kilometers away from the south of Baotou City. It leans on the vast stretches of Kubuqi Desert with 400-meter crescent shaped dunes and the slope of 45 degrees. In the dry weather, when sliding down from the top of the dunes, one is able to hear various sounds like beating drums, blowing bugles as well as croaking. If several people slipped off simultaneously, the sounds would be so earsplitting that resemble sounds of a large bell. Compared to an echo wall made of sand, Resonant Sand Gorge wins a good reputation of “King of Singing Sand”. Additionally, 2 kilometers away from the echoing wall, there is a crystal lake. Due to rich water, it is the so-called rare “Desert Oasis”.
The sand gorge has become one of the hottest tourist attractions of Inner Mongolia with tourists flocking to catch a glimpse of the echoing sand plains. There is also a range of activities such as camel rides, sand-sliding, cable way and other activities are available at the 5 different hotel resorts located in the desert.
